Are these not the cutest little hats you’ve ever seen?
I’ve put together a FREE step-by-step video tutorial to show you how to make them hacking one of my other hat patterns.
The base for the hat features my super popular Reversible Fleece Hat with Ear Flaps pattern that you can “buy” for free here.
The adorable peeker designs are from DesignsbyJuju.com.
I made these on my BabyLock Spirit embroidery machine with a 5×7 hoop. They are perfect for the child size hat pattern. If you have an embroidery machine that can only do 4x4hoop designs that would still work. The design will just be smaller. No biggie. I think it will still look just as cute!

I just love your videos. You explain things so completely. You make me smile. Thanks for doing this tutorial by adding the peeker. The kids will love them! Thanks again!

Love these hats I’ve made three so far . I want to make one more for my granddaughter she has very thick long hair .I was wondering if there is a way to make them a little bigger to accommodate her hair or should I use the adult pattern?

You can print the pattern pieces at 105% or 108% instead of 100% to increase the size proportionally.

That pattern needs to be requested via this page and the link at the bottom: https://bit.ly/3wu3aPR. If you don’t see it in your inbox within a few minutes check your spam/junk folder.

Just found these hats and can’t tell you how much I love them. Have made 6 so far and not stopping. Have only made child’s size so far but looking forward to trying the adult size. Also thanks for letting us know about increasing the percentage on the printer when we print them out. Helps me alot.
