Day 10 of 12 has to be the easiest and quickest project yet! But don’t be fooled these little rice packs will be loved by all who receive them! Kids love to use them as boo-boo bags. It’s a good idea to gift two of them so one can be kept in the freezer as a cold pack and the other can be warmed up in the microwave to be used as a hot pack. Play around with the dimensions and different shapes and you’ll have some one-of-a-kind hand warmers in just a few minutes! Great scrap busting project that is easy enough for beginners. If you’re teaching someone how to sew consider this as a project you can work on together. They will leave the lesson with a finished project they can use immediately. Nothing better than that!
Now, enjoy my FREE step-by-step video tutorial on how to make some hot/cold packs and hand warmers! Happy sewing!
