Can you believe we are almost half way done with our Victorian Modern quilt top already? If you haven’t finished your six Block #1s yet no worries. All the videos in this series will live indefinitely HERE. So, you can complete this quilt at your own pace whenever you want to. This week I’m moving right along to Block #2.
Block #2- Victorian Modern quilt |
It super easy to piece and is very similar to Block #1. This one is even easier though since it’s nothing but squares and rectangles. Even if you have never made a quilt before in your life… I’m confident my video tutorials will have you making gorgeous quilts in no time. Give it a go!
I also announce last week’s giveaway winners and reveal this week’s giveaway where two more lucky winners will win some great stuff- a Victorian Modern fat quarter bundle and an EZ Quilting 3 ruler set in the sizes I recommend every quilter start with- 6.5″ square, 9.5″ square and 6.5″ x 24″{my all-time favorite ruler}.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about here. Click HERE to start at the beginning of this super fun Victorian Modern Quilt Along!

Your directions are clear and precise and I love that you also put up text to go along with it. I am such a visual learner, that it helps to not only hear it but read it, especially for measurements!

Hi Vanessa,
I finally figured out how to leave a comment on your you tube page….yay for me! But I wanted to ask you here: I noticed you had a printed piece showing the new block and cutting diagrams. Will there be something to print showing all the instructions when we are all done? Thank you.

What I love about your videos are that you are so happy and upbeat. You are so passionate about sewing its contagious. You are encouraging, methodical, thorough and you draw from your experiences and show us what/where we could slip up or could cause a problem. Your cinematography is wonderful and your close-up shots really make a difference. We can take what we’ve learned and try it at home. Thanks Vanessa!
