With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I wanted to whip up a simple little project that would make anyone happy to receive it and that any sewing beginner could make.

Here is what I came up with…
I’m calling it a fabric gift book. I’m not really that great at coming up catchy names for my projects. Can you tell? ::sigh::
But you get it right? It’s such a fun little project to work on and you can totally make it your own! I kept mine rather simple for the purposes of the video tutorial but you can embellish this thing all you want.  The sky is the limit really… I can see these be being made with stuff like puffy paint, fabric paint, fabric markers, buttons, flowers, paper craft embellishments, embroidery… and even patchwork for the outside cover! That would so awesome!
I used my Slice digital cutter to create my fabric appliques and it was a breeze!  I used the Applique Basics design card that comes with the starter kit and this super cute Je T’adore design card.
