It’s been a few months since I’ve been able to get some fun quilting time on my longarm machine, Janoris (don’t ask… my DH named it). I’m working on a new modern quilt along video series for you and I’m putting the final touches on the quilt.
This is my new favorite quilt I’ve ever done! Seriously. I designed and created it and it is so me! I love everything about it from the fabric collection {Textured Solids by Andover Fabrics} to the colors and the cool free-hand wavy lines I’m quilting on it. L-O-V-E!

I took the Craftsy class by Weeks Ringle to get ready for Modern Quilting and another in-person class that she taught at the Shipshewana Quilt Festival in Indiana in June. She helped me put together a fabric stash for a specific modern quilt for my daughter and her husband and I am going to start it when we get home from vacation. Can’t wait!! I am DEFINITELY signing up for your modern quilt-along because you are my mentor and one of my favorite teachers (on Craftsy OR YouTube). Love all of your interests including goats – would love an update on those girls.
