Ok..ok… I know. I’m crazy. But after much harassment encouragement from some of my local quilting buddies I have decided to take the plunge and put together a modern quilt guild chapter for those of us that live in the Gainesville, FL area.
If you live in the North Central Florida region check out the GMQ site and subscribe to make sure you get the most up-to-date information on the new guild. I’ll be posting info on our first meeting soon! The site doesn’t have much yet but I’ll be adding more goodies so check back often!

Ooooh, I wish I still lived in Gainesville! We moved from there several years ago. I would have joined you in an instant!! Good luck with your new guild. Can’t wait to hear more about your meetings…..

Yay! I’m glad that our brainstorming session at Starbucks is becoming reality. Thanks for your efforts on this, band be sure tolet me know if you want some help getting things rolling! I already posted a note about it on FB and Twitter, and will try to blog about it this week.
