For use on mechanical and computerized sewing machines with metal plates around the presser foot. Since it is magnetic it will not stick to plastic.
This handy little tool is perfect for projects that require precision seam allowances like piecing patchwork or topstitching. I also use these when I teach kids or beginners how to sew. Magnet is strong enough to remain steady in place as you sew but easy enough to move to position it right where you need it.
