Look what landed on my doorstep yesterday! My complimentary copies of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks, Vol. 3.
….and my block is on the cover!!
There it is! Horizon block- the red, black and white block right there!
Check me out! My name and website right there in a real quilting magazine!
Pardon all my exclamation points but this is big for me!
The magazines will hit stands May 10th so run out and get yourself one! There are so many talented designers and fabulous blocks jam packed into this one issue. You won’t be disappointed.
There will be a blog tour the first week of May where you will be able to visit the blogs of most of the designers featured in the issue. Be sure to follow along. The info is not posted just yet but check closer to May 2nd by clicking HERE.
p.s.- I have another fun accomplishment to announce next week.. stay tuned.

I KNEW you could do it. You are an amazing quilter and an excellent teacher. I wish that we lived closer so I could hire you to teach some classes out here. I have been to too many classes where the teacher “knows it all” and makes the beginners of the class feel like idiots. You never make anyone feel stupid, and that is a great gift. Yippee and happy day!!!

Congratulations, my block didn’t make the cover but my block and quilt are include inside. So, I certainly do understand your excitement.

I love what you do! You’re patient and kind and helpful, and willing to share. Thank-you for walking through processes so that we can understand. That means a lot to me, because I struggle with somethings and it can be very frustrating at times. Thank the Lord, it’s just lovely to have some-one who is willing to walk along side and help you “get it” I am glad and grateful that you’ve been assisted to continue doing what you are obviously gifted to do. I love the bold and dynamic patterns that you block creates too.
