Day 3 of 12 Days of Last Minute DIY Gifts- FREE Video Tutorials

Welcome to day 3 of my 12 days of last minute DIY gifts. For the third day, I will share with you how to sew a lip balm cozy. It is cute and handy not just for your lip balm but can be used for lipsticks, travel-size lotions, perfumes, and more. Moreover, this is an easy and quick project, therefore it is definitely beginner-friendly. You don’t need a lot for this project but just two pieces of small fabrics and some lightweight fusible interfacing. Then, I used plastic snaps for the closure but you can try others like hook and loop, metal snaps, or magnetic snaps. Here are the fabric measurements you will be needing:

  • Exterior:
    • Fabric: 5.5” x 8.5”
    • Interfacing: 5.5” x 8.5”
  • Lining: 5.5” x 4.5”
