Hi everyone! Today we are quilting! I will share with you a Confetti Charm Quilt tutorial. If you are planning on a last-minute quilt project, then this is the perfect choice for you. Here are the materials I used:
Background fabric 2 yards
Fabric squares 42 pcs 5” x 5”
Here are the fabric measurements I end up with from my 2 yards fabric:
35 pcs 3 ½” x 5”
6 strips 3 ½” x width of fabric
6 strips 4 ½” x width of fabric
Before piecing the fabrics together, I would recommend creating a layout first just to check what kind of design you like. Position alternately the fabric squares beside the 3 ½” x 5” fabrics. As a result, this is what you call sashing wherein the rectangular fabrics serve as a spacer between the fabric squares. On my layout design, I have created a grid of 6 fabric squares across and 7 fabric squares going down. Then, for the spaces between on each row, place the 3 ½” fabric strips.
Watch this video tutorial as I put together the patchwork pieces for my Confetti Charm Quilt. Also, don’t forget to check out the other confetti quilts that I made. Enjoy!
Btw, you can quilt offline! I have provided a printable PDF pattern for this Confetti Charm Quilt. Click HERE.
