I’m baaaack! It has been a long time since I posted an update for ya’! If you follow me on social media you have seen everything I’m up to these days…. staying busy (as usual!) working on new projects, new tutorials, bag designs, homeschooling kids, welcoming new baby goats to the farm and even a week-long family vacation to NYC to celebrate my husband’s 37th birthday and our son’s 7th birthday. We had a great time and now I’m refreshed, inspired, rejuvenated and ready to tackle new projects! So, let’s get back to it!

All the projects featured here were made with my 5″ Slicer ruler. If you think my ruler is a one-trick pony, think again! You will surely be impressed with the variety of blocks and designs you can make with it. The 5″ Slicer ruler is a small but powerful little tool that allows you to design and make an endless number of quilts… and it’s so easy to use! Every quilter should have one in their stash. It’s my go-to for whipping up a weekend baby quilt or table runner gift project.

Vanessa on one of your post you said your son had designed his fabric from his drawing, could you please tell me how you had this done? My SIL is retiring from Air Force and we want to give him a quilt with the Hercules C 130 cargo planes he has worked on and cannot find any fabric w these planes. Only jets and that’s not his planes . Could you please let me know where you printed Jonathan’s at. Thank You can’t wait till your shop opens Im an avid fan.

Hi Vanessa, I have a partically completed project that was from your cruise using the 5 in slicer. My friend Brenda Howard was on this cruise but didn’t finish the project. I was hoping to finish it but don’t have any directions. You might remember Brenda. She was in a motorized wheelchair.
