Since I’ve been sharing a little more about the behind the scenes and business side of running an online creative business more of you have been emailing me about ways that you could turn your love of crafts into a profitable business. Well, I’m happy to announce that I have teamed up with Craft Industry Alliance (CIA) to bring you a LIVE webinar tomorrow, Thursday, June 22, 2016 from 1:00-2:00pm EDT. The Webinar is FREE for CIA members and it will be recorded so you can access it later or if you can’t watch it live.

For those that are not yet familiar with CIA here is a little more info: “Craft Industry Alliance is a trade organization for everyone with a craft-based business including makers, designers, suppliers, and pro bloggers. I have personally been a member of CIA from the beginning and I find it to be a great and affordable resource for those of us in this creative industry. The forums are fabulous for asking business related questions and for meeting other professionals in all different creative niches. I have also hired freelancers for a variety of projects just by posting in the forums and all have done great work for me. CIA is a great place to meet like minded creative entrepreneurs.     Disappointed that things are going so commercial and not feeling like part of just being crafters. But understand everyone has to make a living. Hipe you enjoy your new avenues, it’s been a pleasure to watch you.

    I had no idea this existed. i have been so stuck into how to start a online business. I am a CGQC member. I am interested in learming how to quilt. Vanessa is a wonderful instructor. I am a bit slow in following and completing some projects. I’m still working at it. I love being in the club.
    This starting a online business, I am ready to do it. Please inform me where to start. Thank you Vanessa for all you are doing to make us feel comfortable with your ease of teaching. It makes one feel you care that we get most of what quilting is all about. Thanks.

    Hi,miss Vanessa.I really love to sew but i don’t have sewing machine to use. Im only a poor housewife staying at home with my kids. Im 26 and so much eager to have sewing machine since i was in the grade school but because of poverty i don’t have any. I’ve been always watching your video tutorials on youtube.im from Philippines. i don’t know how to enter your sewing machine giveaways,hopefully to have one.
    i would like to sew any kind and i was frustrated about that cause i don’t have sewing machine.
    that’s why im just always watching your sewing tutorials and that’s make me HAPPY…..
