Hello and welcome! This is my 4th video from my free motion quilting tutorial series. This time I am going to show you practice designs for straight lines. Basically, this is going to be free motion where you will stitch around randomly. However, just a tip that when you start stitching, think of creating designs like block letters. As you do this, there’s really no guidelines, and all you just do are straight line stitches going back and forth.
As a result, these stitches will appear to have more pronounced and defined edges. Also, it is going to be your choice if you want your stitches closer to each other or with more space apart. But, you have you to keep in mind that the more closer your stitches are, the stiffer the fabric. Unlike stitches with a bigger spacing which allows the fabric to be more draping.
