I’ve never been one to head out of my house for the consumer madness that is Black Friday.  I just have never found anything I needed so badly that would require me to leave my house early, wait in lines, deal with crowds and all that. Since all we have nearby (40 min drive) is a Joann’s it can be tough to get the supplies I need. So, I often order online.  If you’re like me and don’t want to head out the door or just don’t have any quality shops nearby I’ve put together a list of online sales that I think are worth having a look at.

1. Wonder Clips

These are my favorite little clips to use for quilt binding, fleece projects, faux leathers, vinyl, etc. They are perfect for holding bulky layers of fabric together or the kinds of fabrics that you can’t pin through. This is the pack I have. They also have them in different sizes and colors HERE.

2. Brother Scan N Cut

Amazon is offering $50 off the Brother Scan N Cut! That’s a good chunk of savings. If you all recall I was one of the designers working with Brother on their Scan N Cut launch last year and I’m even in the infommercial that is running nationwide. The Scan N Cut is a versatile electronic cutting machine that cuts through paper, fabric, felt, vinyl, and more without the need for any cartridges! You can even scan designs in and it will cut it out for you. I created video tutorials on stuff I’ve made with my Scan N Cut. You can watch them HERE to see what all it can do. Would make a great gift for any crafty person! Use the link below and you’ll see a $50.00 coupon directly underneath the price tag for you to take an additional $50 off! This is a great sale if you ask me.

3. Sakura Micron Pens

I use these pens to write on my quilt labels. They are permanent, don’t bleed or run and don’t wash out. They come with different sized tips. To make writing on fabric a little easier I use the .05 or even the .005 sized pen and back my fabric with some freezer paper. It stabilizes it just enough for writing on. Grab a pack. You’ll find a million uses for them.
All Craftsy classes are $19.99 or less until Monday night at 11:59pm MT. This is a no brainer if you enjoy learning via video. Their classes are professionally made and their platform is so easy to use. I’m probably preaching to the choir here but do yourself a favor and at least try out one of their FREE classes if you haven’t yet. I bet you’ll sign up for the paid ones in no time. Huge range of topics and expert instructors. Click here for the sale.

5. Hello Kitty Sewing Machine

I love all my Janome sewing machines! Don’t ask how many I have. LOL. I found this Hello Kitty Janome sewing machine on sale and had to share! My son has this same machine in all blue with the Kenmore name on it but it’s the same thing. Janome made the Kenmore machines. We love it! He’s had it for 2 yrs now and actually I use it all the time because it’s lightweight and easy to use for any quick project. I would highly recommend it for a beginner or child learning to sew. It’s basic enough to start with but has enough stitch options they can grow with. You can watch my son in this video when he was 3 yrs old using his machine if you want to see this machine in action. Would make a fantabulous gift for any beginner!

6. Kiwi Crate Boxes for Kids of all ages

Kiwi Crate is offering 60% off your first box and FREE shipping! These educational and crafty boxes are a great gift for kids! My kids really enjoyed unboxing our first one. You can watch our video review of Kiwi Crate here. Use coupon code MERRYSUB at checkout to save 60% off your first box and get free shipping. This discount code applies to any of the Kiwi Crate Family boxes and they have quite a few now: Koala Crate (ages 3-4), Kiwi Crate (ages 4-8), Tinker Crate (ages 9-14+) and Doodle Crate (ages 9-16+).
This is a random sale but it’s such a bargain I had to add it to include it in my list! This is a lot of 25 different colored 9″ and 10″ nylon zippers for $5 and includes FREE shipping! You can’t beat that! I stock up on these for gifts and small projects like my zippered cosmetic pouches, pencil & crayon pouches, etc. {Click on the project to watch the tutorials.} Grab some zips!
That’s it for now. Hope you got to enjoy some quality family time this weekend. We sure did!
My husband and the kids played board games while I cooked a small Thanksgiving dinner just for the four of us.
