Hi all! This is turning out to be a very busy (and fun!) summer for me!  I’m gearing up to take a few more trips and I want to tell you about one coming up at the end of this month. I’m so excited I can hardly wait! {excuse the excessive use of exclamation points!}

Imagine this: 3 days in Savannah, GA, by myself, doing nothing but sewing, getting one-on-one instruction from a Master Tailor, and coming home with a professionally tailored women’s jacket! AHHH!  Now this is what I call a real vacation! Well, that’s what I’ll be doing later this month.

I created a video to share with you the details of this trip. I’ll be visiting the Savannah Sewing Academy to take a three-day workshop on how to make a women’s tailored jacket. I will be learning from a Master Tailor with 50+ years of experience! Most of you know that I am self-taught in the sewing/quilting game so I am looking forward to some formal instruction from a true master of the craft.

Gentleman Jim offers several different workshops at his Savannah, GA studio and space is limited so check out the list for dates and descriptions on what workshops he still has available.  If you are unable to attend a workshop with him, no worries!
