Original Sewing & Quilt Expo- Recap

I had a great time at the Original Sewing & Quilt Expo in Lakeland, FL this month. Got to meet some of you in person, catch up with some quilt industry friends, met some new companies for potential collaborations, did a little bit of shopping and found a new hobby to try! I’ll keep my words to a minimum and let you enjoy the pictures I took during the two days I was there. Enjoy!

Meeting Lorena at the Fabric Warehouse booth.
Meeting another Crafty Gemini fan and the Wandering Stitches booth!
Lisa, the owner of Wandering Stitches in Orlando, FL.

Met up with Flor again this year. She too is on a weight loss journey! Go, Flor!

My quilt-industry twin, Ebony Love of LoveBug Studios.
People always mistake us for each other… not sure why!

I got to meet Elizabeth, another Crafty Gemini fan.

My quilt industry mentor, Margaret or Eazy Peazy Quilts.
Check out her new book: Eazy Peazy Gifts: 2 hours or less!

Florida designer friends!

A GORGEOUS Janome Memory Craft 8900 I was drooling over!

The Sew & Quilt Shop from Bunnell, FL was demo-ing a Schacht Cricket loom and I was totally impressed!
I wanted one so bad… More on that in another blog post.

Some very pretty bold quilts on display.

More quilts!

..and another simple but striking quilt.

And another pretty quilt.

Meeting up with more Crafty Gemini fans!
