Modern Quilt Along- Part 1

Today is the big day! I’m launching a new video quilt along for my latest Keys Afloat modern quilt. If you are a beginning quilter or have never tried your hand at a modern design give this one a try! It’s super-duper easy! All you cut out out are a bunch of strips and piece them together. Did I mention there are NO POINTS TO MATCH UP?! None. Really. Not a single one. If you have problems cutting straight or sewing straight give this project a go. It’s very forgiving… and isn’t it a bright & cheery quilt?! We can all use a little more of that in our lives, right?

If you’d like to have a printable version of the quilt pattern you can head over to my online shop and pick one up. Click HERE to get the PDF e-pattern for this Keys Afloat modern quilt.

The fabric list for this project is:

Vanessa – you look GREAT and I’m happy to see you starting another quilt-along. I hope to make this one day (other projects are in the works at the moment) but I will certainly watch and learn from you. Thanks for your enthusiasm and precise teaching – it has really helped me as I begin this post-retirement quilting phase of my creative life.
