Phew! I feel amazing whenever I finish a quilt! Who doesn’t?
Just did an overall meander because I wanted to keep it simple and was in a time crunch!
If you’re looking closely you may see I pieced the binding. Random. The binding strips were cut from the left over pieced backing fabric. I just went with it and let me tell you… I love the look! Little pops of green all around the binding. This is why I always tell you all to try new things, experiment, do what works for you and don’t worry about technique or rules. There is no such thing as the quilting police!
Here is the pieced backing. Just had to use whatever coordinating fabrics I had. Luckily, I made it work with what I had and didn’t make a run for the fabric store. I love it when I’m resourceful. It’s challenging and fun!
I’m off to finish making last minute gifts! AH!

love this quilt, I think the drunkards path will be my next move, after watching your tutorial on how to sew curves without pins.
Just stumbled your you-tubes and have been catching up on your offerings, I made the pillow case dress today from two flannel receiving blankets, I’ll post pictures on your flickr group soon!
