If you have been following the first two sneak peeks I’ve posted about the new Brother™ ScanNCut that’s coming out then you already know it will cut out precise patchwork pieces for making quilt blocks and also allows me to scan in my original applique designs to embellish just about anything I want. Well for this 3rd (and last) sneak peek I want to show you what else I’ve done with the ScanNCut.
These may look like simple fabric keychains I made… and they are. The cool part is that I scanned in the fabric and fussy cut out the parts I wanted! That’s right! You can use paper and fabric with the machine’s scanning feature. You tell the ScanNCut to cut out exactly what you want. I can imagine cutting out all kinds of large floral prints for cool art quilts, characters from novelty fabrics for kid projects, etc.

Do the basic designs for say 2 1/2 strips, blocks, etc, come already built in, or do we need to scan each size block. Will it even cut strips?

The ScanNCut just keeps getting better and better!

I am looking forward to the ScanNCut like you wouldn’t believe! I found out about it from the Brothers Blog, then from Craftsy, then from Paper crafters and I’m here from Julie’s blog! Small world!
