A new tutorial! Although this product does show off some really cool features of the new Brother Scan N Cut, you can totally make this without it! Simply use a small saucer or a CD as your template!
In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to make a really simple and fun fabric keychain. I like that it isn’t too small which definitely helps me find my keys easily. With two preschoolers around I never know where my keys will end up and it helps if I have a little bit of my big and bright keychain sticking out somewhere.
If you’re not yet familiar with the Brother Scan N Cut you can check out an earlier post I wrote on it by clicking HERE.

I’m asking for this machine for Christmas! I am so impressed. I’m wondering if you change blades for paper and fabric. How are the blades holding up?
Vanessa Vargas Wilson
So far so good! The standard blade is for paper and fabric. The deep cut blade is for the really thick stuff- cardboard, leather, etc. Even when you have to replace them they are not expensive- 2 per pack for about $10-$12.
Custom Metal Keychains
Fabric keychains are becoming a new trend nowadays, these kind of keychains are easy to create because the materials to use can be easily crafted. I would love to have such kind of machine for it would be very handy for my craft projects.
