I’ve been working on getting a better schedule in place, y’all. I need a new one that makes room for all the things I have to do, and things I want to do.
And let me tell you… it’s tricky. 😂
Ten years ago, I would’ve just crammed it all in. Work super late, get up early, keep going, and not think twice about it.
These days, I just can’t. And to be honest, I don’t want to work like that anymore.
The tricky part is figuring out how to fit everything in without burning myself out trying to do it all.
So, that’s what I’m working on right now: finding a rhythm that leaves room for the things that need to get done and the things that just bring me joy.
I’m still figuring it out… but I’m getting there. Here’s this week’s update:
✨ CRAFTY GEMINI WORK
This weekend I’m editing the videos for my 6th and final bag project in my 3rd Edition Mystery Mini Bag Club. Club members will get access to the new online course on the 15th of this month. I’ve already released 5 bag projects as shown below. Since it’s a mystery club I can’t reveal the last project just yet.
✨ WHATNOT SHOPPING SHOWS
My LIVE auction selling shows on Whatnot are still going great! I hear that you are enjoying grabbing great deals on premium quilting cottons from your favorite fabric manufacturers. I have such a fun time chatting about pretty fabrics with y’all!
This week I even hosted a demo on how to make a small cotton rope bowl and we sold rope bundles. I sold out before I even began the tutorial so I think it’s safe to say I should do more of those.

✨ COMMUNITY SERVICE
In the past week we’ve taught 60+ kids at two different afterschool programs how to sublimate their own air fresheners and 35-piece puzzles. These kinds of projects are always a hit because they can customize them any way they want.
We bring our workshops to already existing afterschool programs. We provide all the materials, supplies and tools so each student can complete each project. Even the staff likes to check out what we are doing. They are always so impressed with the projects the children make.

✨ IN THE GARDEN
Still harvesting tons of peppers. I know you’re sick of hearing me say that but that’s what summer is like in Florida. LOL.
The pictures below paint a bigger picture of what else is growing:
• My roselle is starting to bloom!
• 100+ sunflowers are growing nicely!
• My Louisiana Evergreen Shallots have sprouted!
• My strawberry plants have put out so many runners that I need to start separating them all and properly planting them in my Greenstalk garden to overwinter them.
✨ This Week’s Favorite
This week my favorite thing is pickleball! Finally a new social & athletic hobby! Y’all know I love lifting my heavy kettlebells and jumping rope at home… but it’s just me by myself most days.
As an extrovert, I love working out with other people. I know I’m late to the game but y’all… why didn’t anyone tell me how fun pickleball is!?!
It’s embarrassing to say but I bought a set of paddles and balls 3 years ago because I wanted to learn and just took them out of the plastic last week. 🤦🏽♀️
I found an instructor and was able to schedule my first lesson. I didn’t want to leave! I was having so much fun. I recruited a friend to learn too so, now we are both taking lessons once a week and meeting up to practice what we learn at my little town’s tennis courts on the weekend.
Let’s just say y’all are gonna be sick of me and my pickleball stuff! 🤭 I’m trying out skort sewing patterns, I need a new bag for my paddles, etc.
And with that, I’m calling it a week. There’s always more happening around here, but that’s enough for now.
