Thank you all so much for the amazing feedback and messages about my soon to be released video bag of the month club. It’s almost time!

I am back in town after hosting another one of my luxury sewing retreats this weekend and I just have a few last things to do and then the club will be open for signups! Yay!

I always show you the projects I’ll be teaching so there are no mysteries or surprises. Here is the video I put together for you. In this one I show you all 7 projects and tell you all about them. Hope you are ready! This is going to be such a fun new club!

All are great but I did especially like the Where me, Wash me bag and #7 the everyday bag. Looking forward to this.

Hi Vanessa, I loved watching your latest video about your new bag club. I’m fairly new to your channel and am really excited about joining the new club. All of the projects look handy and I hope I’ll be able to follow your instructions on how to make them.

Marion, one of the things I like most about Vanessa’s tutorials is that they are very clear and easy to follow. She’s a great teacher and covers all the bases.

I am a novice sewer. The bags along with your instructions seems doable even for me. I really look forward to the cross body bag and the game day bags!

As always great, fun, useful, and cool projects in this club…how do you think up so many bags!!!! Can’t wait to sign up!!!!

  • Mary

Oh my goodness! I didn’t think I would be so excited for this to open up! I love them all! Looking forward to trying them all—-especially trying the new hardware and fabric options! I learn “sew” much from you, Vanessa!

  • Mary Kathryn Pizzello

    I love your videos

Will the fee for the bag per month be payable or is paid monthly?

    Thank you. Mary Kathryn Pizzello

  • SHELIA LILLY

OHHHH !!! Love the projects. When they ‘re released will they be posted weekly or monthly? I hope weekly. These will make great Christmas gifts! Love the tips & tricks videos.

    Thank you !

Looking forward to this bag class. If anyone is undecided, honest to goodness her classes are well worth the money. I have signed up for several classes and they are always easy to access, whenever I feel like it. I can rewind and watch something I am unsure about a hundred times. A great confidence booster! Her stuff always looks great, and I get tons of compliments from stuff I have made. Getting ready to make some jackets again for the grands now that the weather is cooling down. Can’t wait for this class

    Hi Vanessa,
I’m excited to return to join your latest bag club. I am most interested in the x-body stroll design and the project bag, (but intend to make each of the seven you’re offering). I can’t wait to get started!!

I think these bags and all the hints you are going to give us to save money will be something I may finally be able to do for a beginner bag gal. I think the wash me wear me bag should be something that may sell at our church bazaar. thanks

  • Sheila Bennett

Look like lots of binding, lol. I need the wash me, wear me bag this week. I am going to London! Of course I will join you know I love you!

    • Vanessa Vargas Wilson

LOL. Actually not much binding at all! And I’m sharing other ways to finish if you want to save time. See you in the Club!

  • Sandy Webb

Can’t wait for this to start. Excited about the essential purse and the wash me/wear me bag is sure to be a favorite!

    Hi Vanessa,
Super excited!! Quik question, I’m sure you will give a supply list for each project. I haven’t sewn in years and may need to pick up some standard things. What items would I need?

    • Vanessa Vargas Wilson

The supply lists are posted in the supplemental PDF that accompanies each project. Each is posted with the video course on the scheduled date. To start we recommend you have a sewing machine with straight stitch & zig zag stitch capabilities if possible and basic sewing supplies like pins/clips, scissors or rotary cutter and mat, some rulers to measure with an iron and an ironing board. The interfacings and stabilizer options will be discussed in each course so you can decide what you’d like to use to create your bags. Hope that helps.

Will you be giving a supply list before each bag class starts? I am interested but won’t have all supplies on hand.

Can’t wait to make the “wash me wear me” bag, do you recommend pre washing the fabric so if the bag is washed it won’t shrink?

I’m just getting started in sewing and saw you on youtube. I’m obviously too late for the bag club…will you be doing another one?
