I have knitted and quilted for years but unlike quilting I have never had a yarn stash and probably would not start one. There are so many types of yarn and patterns out there that I have always bought a pattern and then picked out the yarn it calls for. I guess I am not creative enough to take a chance and probably my husband would kill me if I started another stash of something else. On another note, probably 30 years ago I knitted bomber jacket type sweaters. I still have the pattern. I should make one again.
