If you are a newbie to crochet you are in for a treat because I took my sweet time filming this tutorial to make sure I covered all the bases. I think you will appreciate it!
This is a great beginner project and they whip up pretty quickly. The best part about crocheting a washcloth is that you get a ton of practice on the same stitch (half double crochet, in this case!) and at the end of all that practice you get a washcloth you can actually use! WIN!
In this video tutorial I teach you how to do a half double crochet stitch in the back loop. Lots of terms but trust me it’s simple. You can do it! I even show you a wonky washcloth I made with a bunch of mistakes to show you that if yours looks like that, no worries! It’s still a wash cloth and it will work just fine.
