This past week I had the pleasure of hanging out with the amazing crew of It’s Sew Easy– the PBS sewing show! I had an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G time and met some famous sewing personalities! I filmed two segments for the show. My lessons are a part of the Series 600 season will start airing in December 2013 (don’t quote me on that) but I will post more info when I know for sure.
My experience: The studio is brand-new and gorgeous! It’s located in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. The staff is so nice and funny! The crew is really helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly on set. I even had a professional make-up artist prep me for my close-up!

congrats on being on TV again!sorry to say we don’t get that show out here 🙁 . To answer your question, yes I have signed up for and have used craftsy classes, they are the best. Easy to follow, instructor are good, some better than others (lol) and it is so nice to be able to watch it over and over in case you missed something the first time or need a refresher.

I have taken your class, Vanessa, and was able to make the rocking chair cover for our granddaughter’s nursery as well as envelope pillows for nieces. You are such a wonderful teacher – I am a HUGE fan. Since I am mostly a quilter and have never sewn a garment (since an apron in 7th grade) and don’t own a serger, I have not taken the other classes. I’m definitely an addict of Craftsy Quilting classes. 🙂 AND your blog and YouTube Channel.
Still hoping for news of your baby goats….

So happy for you.

Way to go Vanessa! I am new to sewing as I went YEARS without any interest, but I have a killer Necchi vintage machine that I love and am bonding with. I have some cool projects lined up and I am looking forward to figuring out when the cool sewing shows are on…This is one episode I’d like to see! Hope you had fun! It sounds like you did! 😀
