When you purchase a Crafty Gemini class or workshop, you agree to all of our event policies.
Refunds, Exchanges, & Class Deposits
For in-person classes all sales are final. Please ensure that you are able to attend all scheduled days prior to signing up or completing your purchase. We will not be able to issue refunds or exchanges once you have completed your order for an in-person class or event. For online digital course purchases we cannot offer refunds because there is no way to truly refund the digital product. If the issue is with a digital Club please contact our Customer Service Team with details at: [email protected] for a refund. We will happily issue a refund if requested within 14 days of purchase of a Club. Note that a refund request in this case will cause us to rescind all user access to the refunded Club content immediately. For physical product refunds please contact our Customer Service Team with detailed information regarding refund request and we will promptly issue a refund after we receive the product back in our hands. We have a very receptive and helpful team that will work to make things right if there is any issue with your digital or physical purchase.
Event Cancellations
In the unlikely event that a workshop or class needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, Crafty Gemini LLC is not responsible for lost travel and/or lodging expenses. You will be notified at the earliest possible moment if there are any issues with your confirmed course. If an event is cancelled due to instructor issues, studio mishaps, or general acts of God, you will be refunded in full. Please be aware that our events will run as scheduled, rain or shine.
We reserve the right to substitute or replace teachers at our discretion in order to facilitate the scheduled workshop or class.
General
Due to space limitations and attendee engagement, our events will be limited to a select number of spots. Only registered students may sit in. Children and/or guardians may not sit in unless they have also registered for a space in that class.
All class listings will include information regarding any supplies/materials you will need to bring to class. Any items that are included in the course fee will also be listed in the course description for clarity.
Location & Time
All events will be held at our studio located at 501F NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL (newt to Ward’s Supermarket).
If driving, there is a parking lot right outside of the shop/studio. There is a handicap accessible spot directly in front of our shop as well. Please use caution when leaving anything in the vehicle and follow all municipal parking signs. Parking is at your discretion.
We will start on time. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes earlier than the schedule class time.
Risk of Injury
We want you to have an absolute blast with us! Sewing can be a wonderful and fruitful experience, but know that it does involve the use of scissors, rotary cutters, sharp pins, needles and other notions that can cause injury if improperly used. Crafty Gemini LLC is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or harm caused during or as a result of your class or workshop.
Please wear closed-toe shoes whenever attending a class at the studio.
Crafty Gemini LLC reserves to right to update our class policies at anytime and without notice.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF ALL RISK RESPONSIBILITY:
Crafty Gemini LLC, Crafty Gemini Fabric Shop & Studio and/or suppliers of services cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in travel schedules or other causes. All such losses or expenses will be the sole responsibility of the class participant.
DISCLOSURE: I am aware that during my participation in a class or workshop at the Crafty Gemini LLC (DBA Crafty Gemini Fabric Shop & Studio) certain risks and dangers may arise, including, but not limited to the hazards of traveling to the class location, forces of nature, an accident or the onset of illness. Also I am aware and clearly understand that Crafty Gemini LLC will not have liability regarding provision of medical care, the speed of evacuation or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered.
I understand that Crafty Gemini LLC will use their best efforts to ensure that all adequate measures are taken to avoid such occurrences. By signing up and paying for a class I am VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED AND HEREBY AGREE TO ACCEPT ANY RISKS. As lawful consideration for the contract with Crafty Gemini LLC to participate in a class, I hereby agree that I will not make any claim against Crafty Gemini LLC and it’s owners from all claim actions and demands that I may have for bodily injury, death, or property damage arising from my participation in this class. Signing up & paying for a class at the Crafty Gemini Fabric Shop & Studio will serve as my release of Liability and Assumption of Risk agreement.
