Hey everyone, I have some exciting updates! This month I’ll be attending two different quilting events where you can come meet me! Here’s a short video with details and I’ve also included everything you need to know about both events below. Hope to meet you in person! First up is QuiltCon West 2016!
What: QuiltCon West
Where: The Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E Green St Pasadena, California, 91101. I’ll be at the Northcott Fabrics Booth #616.
When: February 18, 2016 – February 21, 2016 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Why: I’ll be joining Northcott Fabrics to spread the word about their amazing solids and coordinating fabrics. I will be doing 3 different quilt demos! Here are the details on those demos:
• Thursday, Feb. 18 at 12:30pm in Exhibit Hall: Inspired Improv with Northcott Colorworks Premium Solids
• Friday, Feb. 19 at 2:45pm in Exhibit Hall: Crafty Gemini Presents the 10″ Slicer and the Mod Octagon Quilt!
• Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1:15pm in Exhibit Hall: Minimalist Piecing for Maximum Impact
• Sunday, Feb. 21st 10:30am- 11:15am: I will be speaking on a panel about Diversity in Quilting.
Cost: Daily admission tickets are $10.

Next up is AQS Quilt Week in Daytona Beach, Florida:
What: AQS QuiltWeek
Where: The Ocean Center, 101 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118. I’ll be at BOOTH #1137 (a far back corner booth).
When: February 24 – 27, 2016.
Why: I’ll have my own booth where I’ll be showcasing and selling my 10″ slicer, new Sulky thread collection, CraftyGemini T-shirts and more. I’ll also have a photographer who will be snapping plenty of pictures! Come say hi!
Cost: Daily admission tickets are $14
2 day admission tickets are $25
Multi-day admission tickets are $35

I talked with you the last day of the quilt show and purchased one of your rulers for what I swore was advertised on your sign as $10. Yet my receipt showed $18. That’s quite a bit of a difference in price. Can you please contact me?

Hi Shelly,
The sign said $18 (sales tax included). The only thing advertised for $10 at our booth were the Crafty Gemini mugs. If you look in my online shop my rulers are pried at $16.95. With the FL sales tax added the total is $18.05. So we discounted the $0.05 to make the money handling easier for everyone and I will cover that part of the sales tax when I pay it. Thanks.

Yep, it was my mistake. I admit it. I was long past exhausted. And the ruler is worth it no matter what. So looking forward to using it!! Now if I can just find my sewing table from wherevmy familybtook over while I was gone!! You just keep on coming up with these cool new things for us old farts to learn from!
