I feel like I’m getting better at figuring out what I actually want more of in my life… and what I could stand to live without.
I’m slowly letting go of some of the things that feel heavy and forced and adding more of the things that make me happy.
Sometimes it’s something big. And sometimes it’s as simple as cleaning the house with the music BLASTING when nobody else is home. 😂 That’s what I did today. So therapeutic!
I’m also planning to sit down with my husband to look through some of our cookbooks and pick out some new recipes to try. I’m feeling called to try some new flavors and new dishes.
Maybe that’s what this season is about for me: less of what weighs me down, more of what makes me feel alive.
And there’s been plenty of both happening around here this week… including the baby of the house getting her driver’s permit! Ahhhh!
✨ CRAFTY GEMINI WORK
We wrapped up my Mystery Mini Bag Club #3 this weekend with the 6th project of that Club series. I also signed up to participate in a craft swap at a friend’s house this weekend so I had to make the items for that. I decided on the small size of my No-Fail Zipper Pouch project. It’s literally my favorite way to get perfect ends on my zipper pouches. No zipper tab ends, no folding and melting, or hand sewing, etc. It’s such a fab technique for getting perfect zippers on your pouches. Try it out if you struggle with zipper ends!

✨ COMMUNITY SERVICE
We’ve been busy! Teaching kids craft classes, senior craft classes and we took 75 senior citizens on a field trip to the Market at Marion in Belleview, FL last Friday.
The kids have been busy making sublimated zipper pouches and puzzles. The senior citizens enjoyed making their own sublimation puzzles too!A fun way to make something that will be a great brain exercise for them whenever they want to work on a small puzzle.
The field trip went well and many of the seniors came home with bags full of goodies they bought at the market! Some bought fruits & veggies and others bought gifts and clothes.

✨ IN THE GARDEN
I started more seeds for the Fall garden but they haven’t germinated yet. Hopefully I start to see some sprouts soon.
I’m on my 3rd harvest of sorrel (roselle hibiscus) and I’ve been a dehydrating queen this week. I love sorrel tea. Nothing beats having it dried and ready to use year round!

✨ This Week’s Favorite
This week my favorite thing is my new pickleball paddle! I got a new Revolin Drift PURE LH paddle and it is a dream to use! I feel like I have more control and power. I was excited to find a company that uses more eco-friendly products to make their paddles and they are Made in the USA!
If you’re into pickleball check them out here: https://rstr.co/revolin/24680
