Slice Digital Fabric Cutter- Product Review & Giveaway

I’m pretty familiar with a few different die cutting and fabric cutting tools on the market but I had never heard of the Slice. Probably because the older models were aimed more towards paper crafters and scrapbookers.  Then a few years ago they launched a new version specifically for cutting fabric appliques.  And now…..there is a brand spanking new & improved Slice that cuts paper, fabric, vinyl, felt, etc.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the new Slice Digital Shape Cutter for myself and I put together a video product review for you.  Thanks to our friends at Slice we are also offering one Slice starter kit to one lucky viewer.  For all the giveaway details please watch the video by clicking HERE or you can watch it below if you are reading this on my blog.

Here are just a few things I made with my Slice for you to take a look at how smoothly it cuts around even some intricate designs. All the images below were cut using the Applique Basics memory card that comes in the Slice starter kit.

Oh my gosh this would be so helpful in making a new quilt for my daughter’s bed. She wants it to be covered in heart appliques. I have been procrastinating because I don’t want to cut it all by hand. Thank you for the opportunity. [email protected]

I would love so much to make some t-shirts with my ever-growing 9-year old daughter! I know she would love to pick out her own designs & applique her own shirts. What a great tool to give her the option to make clean fabric appliques!!! 🙂 Thanks for reviewing this item. Your video allowed me to see the item in action rather than just reading about it! You’re the best! Carma — [email protected]

Hi Vanessa, Thank you so much for your honest and unbiased review of the Slice. I think I would try to applique my granddaughter’s onesies. It would be much easier than trying to hoop a onesie for my embroidery machine. I might even work on the quilt I promised my daughter 10 years ago.
Thanks for the chance to win !

I just bought some Get a Clue with Nancy Drew fabric that I plan to make into a quilt for my daughter. I’d use the Slice for cutting out perfect circles to make magnifying glasses to applique on the quilt.

I’m a crafter and do everything the old fashion way with scissors. I don’t own and can’t afford any of the new fancy machines for cutting projects. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to win this cutting machine Slice. It would make my crafting so much easier. I love working with felt so between that and fabric this is what I would use it for. I wish I would be the lucky new owner.Hint Hint..:-) Thanks [email protected]

Your demonstrations are the best! Thank you. One question, when you cut paper with the slice machine to you still use the adhesive on the glass cutting mat?
