My hubby has a habit of leaving the water on when he brushes his teeth in the morning…I wake up and turn it off not only does it save 3 minutes of running water, it helps me get my day rolling since he gets up an hour earlier than I do. I’ve also been taking my reusable bags to the grocery store when I go shopping instead of forgetting them in the laundry room! I love your webisodes:)

Just today I went grocery shopping and brought my canvas shopping bags and put them to use. I cloth diaper my son (at night only) and am currently building my cloth diaper stash for my little princess coming on April 12th. We recycle everything we can and are down to 1 bag of garbage a week. (It would be more but we can’t compost in our apartment.) I also make my own carpet freshener by adding fragrance oil to baking soda and sprinkling it on the carpet before I vacuum. We open the blinds and windows to cut back on lighting and heating costs. I am currently working on an indoor recycling center to hang on the wall made out of recycled blue jeans.

I just took down an old shower curtain and put up a new one. So,I cut the top part off of the old one, where the holes were. I washed it in with a load of towels and hung it out on my porch swing to dry. I now have a perfect tablecloth for outdoor picnics or a drop cloth to use for my granddaughter’s painting projects.
