Class policies: All Crafty Gemini sewing and quilting classes require payment in advance via PayPal. Class registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. 48-hour cancellation notice is needed to receive course credit for a future class. Refunds are only offered when instructor cancels class. Instructor reserves the right to cancel any class if there are not enough students registered. Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your sewing machine and make sure we start class on time.

$20.00- Beginning Quilting/Patchwork Pillow Cover- Friday, July 9th, 6:00-8:00pm
You will learn the basics of quilting in this class without having to make an actual quilt. You will learn how to select fabrics based on color and value, how to measure and cut your patchwork pieces, and how to sew your pieces together to come up with a pretty patchwork design. This class will also cover basics on simple hems and how to make any sized pillow cover. Class supply list will be emailed to you. Requirements: Must have basic sewing skills or have taken my Beginning Sewing Class.


$30.00- Beginner Pillowcase Dress- Saturday, July 10th, 10:30am-1:30pm
Come learn how to make this adorable pillowcase dress for the princess in your life! This dress is a must-have especially for summer! This dress is a great beginner project. You will learn how to make french seams to give any garment a clean, crisp and professional look. You will learn the basics of construction and measuring so you'll be able to make this dress again and again in all different sizes. Class supply list will be emailed to you. Requirements: Must have basic sewing skills or have taken my Beginning Sewing Class.


$30.00- Beginner-Learn to Make Your Own Clothes!- Sunday, July 11th, 1:00-4:00pm
In this class you will learn the basics of garment construction. I will walk you through a simple commercial pattern and teach you how to read and understand the pattern. We will make a simple pair of pajama pants in this class and you will learn how to hem the pants and make a casing for your elastic waistband. Requirements: Must have basic sewing skills or have taken my Beginning Sewing Class.

$20.00- Beginning Sewing Machine Class- Wednesday, July 14th, 6:00-8:00pm
This is my MOST basic beginner sewing class. If you have never used a sewing machine, but want to start making all kinds of fun projects, this is the class for you! You don't even need to have your own sewing machine. If you don't have one I have 3 loaner machines. Please specify that you will need a loaner machine when you register. Everyone will leave with a complete project that you make yourself! No need to bring supplies or anything. I will provide everything you need. If you have a working sewing machine please bring it along with all the necessary parts.


$20.00- Hand Sewing Basics Class- Friday, July 16th, 6:00-8:00pm
NO SEWING MACHINE NEEDED!
You DO NOT need a sewing machine for this class! I will provide everything you need. In this class you will learn a lot of different tips and tricks for simple hand sewing. I will show you how to thread your hand needle and knot it correctly, sew on a button, and do different stitches that are are functional and can be used for hand embroidery as well. Register now and save $$$$ by doing small alterations yourself instead of paying someone else to do it!


$30.00- Intermediate: Pillowcase Dress w/ Ruffle- Sat., July 17th, 10:30am-2:00pm
This is Part II to the basic pillowcase dress class. You MUST take the first class before you can register for this one. This class has some intermediate techniques and skills for you to learn. You will learn how to make your own ruffle and attach it to the bottom of the dress. You will also learn how to make your own shoulder straps out of a matching fabric instead of using ribbon! All these techniques can be carried over to tons of other projects.



$30.00- Flirty Girl Half Apron- Sunday, July 18th, 1:00pm-4:00pm
This is a great project for a confident beginner. Once you make one of these you will want to go home and make dozens to give as gifts. In this class you will learn how to make a double sided half apron, a lined pocket, and coordinating ruffle for the bottom trim. Requirements: Must have basic sewing skills or have taken my Beginning Sewing Class.


$30.00- Beginner-Learn to Make Your Own Clothes!- Friday, July 23rd, 6:00-9:00pm

$30.00- Kids' Super Hero Cape!- Saturday, July 24th, 10:30am-1:30pm
This project is great for any little boy or girl in your life! You can customize their very own super hero or she-ro cape using any fabric you know they will enjoy! In this class you will learn how to make a lined cape complete with Velcro neck tie. We will also embellish the cape with an applique design of your choice on the back of the cape. We will use an easy fusible applique technique that anyone can do! Maybe a butterfly for a girl's cape, your boy's initial, a big yellow star, etc. These will be a hit at any sleepover or birthday party!

$25.00- How to make a Pillowcase- Saturday, July 31st, 10:30am-1:30pm
In this class you will learn how to make custom pillowcases for anybody! You can make twin sized, full, or even king sized pillowcases. You will learn how to make crisp and professionally finished pillowcases using french seams. These make great gifts because you can coordinate and embellish them to match anything you want. Requirements: Must have basic sewing skills or have taken my Beginning Sewing Class.
