The YouTube NextUp program is a new initiative YouTube has launched to help develop the next generation of leading YouTube Partners through funding, hands-on training, promotion and exclusive mentoring. After three rounds in the selection process here’s what I’ve won:
* a check for $35,000 in funding to advance their overall YouTube careers
* A spot at a week long YouTube Creator Camp in NYC in which I’ll benefit from 1:1 mentoring and learn an array of production techniques from leading industry and YouTube experts
* Promotion of my final work and channel
* The opportunity to become better connected with a special community of aspiring and talented content creators from around the world
