OMG!! I have figured out how to satisfy my quilting obsession without completely putting my son, husband, and my job on the back burner— MINI QUILTS!!
After having first made a mini quilt for a swap, I am now officially obsessed! I love that I can finish and entire mini quilt in just a few hours so I can start one and by working on it for 30 minutes each day it is done from start to finish in just a few days. This is the perfect solution for me.
Here is my latest mini quilt! I made this one for my husband to hang in his office at work. He looooves the beach and has different beach scene pictures/posters in his office so I thought I would make him one out of fabric! He loves it and has already had compliments from people entering his office. I couldn’t be happier.
I call it “Playa Caribeña” (means Caribbean Beach) in Spanish. :o)
