M6844 Peplum Cardigan Sew Along- Part 6

It’s time for the last episode!!  Part 6 of the M6844 Video Sew Along is finally here! If you’ve been following along from the beginning you should be very excited! Your cardigan is almost done! In this final video I’ll show you how to hem the peplum, make and attach the neckband and how to hem the sleeves to your desired length. CONGRATULATIONS!

Some supplies and materials I recommend for this project:

• Wonder Clips: I love these clips! I use them for all my quilt bindings, when I’m sewing bulky fabrics together and for sewing stretch knits. They work great. You can get some HERE. 

• Clapper: I love my clapper!  Ever since watching (the super talented) Angela Wolf demo her clapper and how she uses it in her garments I knew I had to buy one.  They are a little pricey but definitely worth it. If you’ve ever struggled to press under hems or seams on stretch knits this is a must! With steam and a few seconds you get super flat and crisp fold lines and seams. It really makes my job a lot easier and don’t have to be fighting with my fabric.
