Sewing Machine Dust Cover

With my new studio coming together nicely I decided to get a little ahead of myself and started making some decor items for my studio. I thought you might like to make one as well so I turned it into a video tutorial- How to make a sewing machine cover.

It’s a quick and easy project that uses fabric, Pellon fusible fleece (or batting… or felt…) and some thread. That’s it!  I’ll show you how to make the side block panels which are a lot easier than you may think!

You can embellish your cover any way you want… applique, free motion quilting… or carve out a whole at the top for the handle… or even include a pocket to carry your foot pedal in. The possibilities are really endless and I hope you’ll give it a try.

If you do make one remember to upload your pictures to my Facebook page. I just love seeing all your creations!
